It is unlikely that our bodies will feel sleep ready if we have not completed a defined sleep ready ritual leading up to bed time. ___________ As parents we are all busy- we all juggle the balls of work family to the best of our ability- but do we really help our children follow predictable discipline behaviour patterns in order to instil comfort and routine? You have heard of the Childs "security blanket" well following predictable behaviour leading up to bed is like having a security blanket.
By helping our children become sleep ready and following predictable routine we may very well be helping them form lifelong habits of rest, tranquillity and comfort. All the best!
